The Accidental Wedding

Nash's Story

When Nash Renfrew wakes in the bed of lovely Maddy Woodford, he has no memory. In the days following his accident, he is charmed by her bright outlook on life, but he lives for the nights, when she joins him chastely-more or less-in her bed. When his memory returns, Nash asks for just one more night before he leaves. But it’s one night too many and it creates a scandal that leaves him no choice but to offer her marriage.

With five orphaned half-siblings in her charge, Maddy needs the security Nash offers and can’t resist the promise of passion she’s experienced in his embrace. Well born, but poverty-stricken, Maddy knows she’s not the wife he planned on, but he’s everything she’s ever dreamed of.

But will passion be enough? He’s a diplomat who knows Czars and Princes and Grand-dukes and she’s just a country girl who’s never even been to a ball.

Can their new-found love survive, or will this accidental marriage destroy her dreams and his career?

This is one wonderful book! Great story line, wonderful characters. Especially Maddy and Nash, but the children and other secondary characters were great, too. I don't remember reading Ann Gracie before but I will definitely read her other books since I loved this one so much.

I loved reading Nash and Maddy's story. After an accident that caused Nash to fall and hit his head by Maddy's house, Maddy knew she had to care for him. Nash was trying to figure out the different emotions he was feeling towards Maddy because he had never felt them before. When a situation arises that compromises Maddy's reputation, Nash did the only thing he felt was right. I love...

Contrary to the average reviews for this book, this was the only Anne Gracie book I LOVED. This is also my FIRST Anne Gracie book and after reading it, I went in search of her other ones but they all fell flat so either this book is a fluke for the author or this is a new her since it is currently her latest one out. I truly hope it is the latter and will give her next book a chance before writing her off.

What I loved about this story....I loved that Maddy was a poor heroine and Anne Grac...

Of the four Anne Gracie novels I've read this one was my favorite. The story was sweet and the characters likeable, and I thought the author did a great job giving the protagonist couple some depth and complexity. Maddy's younger siblings also added some charm to the story, and the beekeeping details made the heroine a little bit unique. A nice touch! My only kvetch is that I found myself getting irritated with Maddy for constantly feeling betrayed by Nash in the second half of the book. I co...
