Lost Lady
Jude Deveraux touches the heart with this captivating novel of unexpected passion, adventure, and second chances. Lost Lady * Forsaken by her guardian and narrowly escaping marriage to a money-hungry suitor, Regan flees Weston Manor, the only home she's ever known, determined to rule her own destiny. When Travis Stanford, a big, rugged American, finds Regan on London's docks, he vows to protect her -- unaware of the magnificent, iron-willed beauty she would become, or the dangerous, passion-filled future that awaited them both. From England's bawdy wharves to Virginia's elegant mansions, their love was kindled by chance, and flamed by the thrilling pursuit of unknown tomorrows.

Not PC but really liked it nevertheless. A possessive and jealous here who falls hard and fast in lust for the heroine it later turned to love. and work to be with her. A HFN ending. The only thing that I didn’t like was near the end of the book the hero randomly throws out that he has it illegitimate child. . The hero has a son with heroine and so this other child would be his half brother or half-sister. Unless I missed it and no other reference was made to the hero having another child much less one out of wedlock. It was very random and unnecessary and the child was never mentioned again. We don’t know whether the hero has been visiting this child, if this child is alive or if he has any plans to see his child in the future. The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth and the reason that this is not a 5 star review.

This was a very sweet romance. I fell in love with Travis myself.. At first I thought Regan was a little brat but throughout the story, we get to watch her grow into her own.
The only thing I didn’t like was that I felt the ending was a bit rushed.. Would have been nice to have an epilogue but maybe I’ll get one as there is another book I’m this series.
I really enjoyed this book. Lots of sexy times and romance. Very good read!
