BONNIE picks up where QUINN left off, with Eve, Joe, John Gallo(Bonnie's father), and Catherine Ling in pursuit of the unidentified person in the swamps of the Big Easy. Readers are given the identity of this individual pretty quickly, and the story takes off sending our characters on a mission to find their suspect. Eve and her friends have to figure out where to find them, and why they want the secret of Bonnie's disappearance to remain just that- a secret. Bonnie makes several appearances throughout the book, trying desperately to help her mother. The book pulls you into the search, and does not let you go! Honestly I never got to a point in this book where I felt like it was a good time to stop and go to bed, I started reading it at 10:30 pm and I didn't stop until I finished it at 3:45 am. It was as if I NEEDED to know what happened to Bonnie as much as I needed to take my next breath! It was truly a great book. Readers will be shocked to find out the identity of Bonnie's kidnapper, and the events that took place that fateful day she disappeared. I don't think any of us expected the way it happened. The ending is heart-wrenching, and readers will be satisfied with the answers they get. The book leaves readers feeling they received the closure promised, but with the opening of a new direction for our beloved Joe and Eve.

Just an FYI to readers who have never read any of the books in this series, BONNIE is not a book to just pick up and read without at least reading EVE, the first book in this trilogy. You will miss out on some of the story, and you'll enjoy it more if you start from the beginning. Even if you've NEVER read a Johansen book, I believe you can enjoy this trilogy. Everything you need to know lies in this trilogy. Happy reading!

Bonnie was a very good book it really brougth all of the stories together. You finaly learn how Bonnie was taken. You felt for all the people who loved her and the people she loved. She didn't hold anyone responable for her death. She make Eve accept her death for what it was an accident and to have peace with it. So everyone can heel. I hope the story continues thought I don't want it end. I want to see more of Jane and Joe. and even bonnies father. Great book.

It is a surprising emotionally filled story. Beautiful ! Bonnie touches the reader's heart, too. The book shows the wonderful people that are part of our lives and that they were gifts given to us.
