I love all of Lynsay Sands books but I like the Argeneau ones best. This one takes place back in Port Henry with some of the my very favorite characters helping mortal Allie . You will be surprised when someone from the past shows up to make trouble yet again. I'm really glad that Ms.Sands decided to get away from the whole Dr.Drexler thing for this one, I'm just completely creeped out by that whole storyline. I like the books in this series that are funny and a little more lighthearted, especially when Leah gets a hold of Luciens phone.(I touch myself) She cracks me up. It was all around just really good way to spend a few hours. If you haven't read all the previous books I highly recommend doing so , the first several are my favorites but there are plenty of the recent ones that are great too.

This was a great couple to read about. Allie and her situation was surprising. I really enjoyed the banter and her take on immortals. Magnus was very confident and smooth until he came to face Allie then we saw it disappear. I think that made him more relatable and likable. Port Henry is becoming a city of immortals which is so cool.

This story was good. Lots of action. Really liked all of the characters together. The main characters were nice and there was not a lot of arguing between them. The ending felt rushed, but at least the bad guys were killed and things were explained.
