This one is about Faith Donovan & rubies and like previous goes into the history of them that I so fascinating especially as plot points. The research that went into these is appreciated. Having lived part of my adult life in the low country made this especially interesting with the ghostly parts that are a strong part of the history and the story was enjoyable. I had read Pearl Cove first, finding at a yard
sale. I enjoyed that so I searched and got the first, second and this one on Amazon. Thanks for good stories, and I have to say the "heat" got to this 70 year old lady!!! Thanks for turning up my furnace. Staying warm and having great fun in NC.😻

I am a huge fan of Ms. Lowell's; I probably have every book that she has written. I could not give this book a 5 star rating because I feel that the job of this book was not complete. I compare it to a 3-hour movie that producers have cut down to 2 just to draw more viewers, and in doing that leave the viewers feeling cheated. The suspense was 5 star, the story line a 5, but when I got to the last 10 pages I kept thinking...'we've only got a few pages left and a lot more left undone'. I feel ...
