Dirty Rich One Night Stand

This is an alternate cover edition - ASIN: B076JCNS7H DIRTY, RICH ONE NIGHT STAND. That's all it was supposed to be. Her. Him. Pleasure. And then a fast goodbye. He's a stranger. And yet, he's not. She knows him even though he doesn’t know her. He's the powerful attorney, now world-renowned after coming off the trial of a century which was publicized across the country. And I'm one of the reporters that sat in his courtroom. I watched him, studied him, got to know him from afar which isn't hard since I know his exact brand of confidence, arrogance, and wealth. I know his type. I've dated his type. Which is why when I happen to come face to face with him, when sparks fly and heat simmers between us, I know what happens if I say "yes" to Reese Summer. I know he'll taste like sin and sex, even before he kisses me. I know he'll feel like pleasure and passion, even before he touches me. I know he'll demand more than I want to give, and yet, because I dare to give myself to him, the result will be deliciously hot. I know that I will not leave his bed without being utterly, completely sated. And I know that I will leave the next morning anyway. And so, I do. And so, he follows. And as chase begins my question becomes: Is Reese Summer THE one or is he really just a dirty, arrogant lie that should have stayed a one night stand?

I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I haven't read Lisa Renee Jones until this year. It's not that I didn't want to, it was simply a matter of time. However, months later, I'm a rabid fan, one-clicking whatever she publishes without a cover or even a blurb. Her writing still resonates so strongly with me that I anticipate her upcoming releases with an unnatural adrenaline rush. So it should come as no surprise that I am utterly in love with her latest book, Dirty Rich One Night Stand.

This book is different from the other books by Lisa Renee Jones I have read so far, in the sense that it focuses more on the romance between the characters, with some suspense elements as a secondary subplot. It tells the story of Reese Summers, a top defense attorney, and Cat Maxwell, a columnist and bestselling true crime novelist. These characters are extremely likeable and their chemistry was intense, explosive even. The romantic aspect of the story was well-thought-out. The witty dialogu...

Great read and hard to put down. The plot thickens and right many suspects to keep tabs on. Cat and Reese make a great pair for each other. Definitely worth the read! Challenge accepted.

I don't know why I did not write a review on this book back in 2018 when I read this book. The only excuse I have is, is that I just retired in 2017 or around there and I had just started reading books on my kindle and I had found these dirty rich series books that I started reading and I have no idea if I wrote reviews, but I decided to back and write reviews when I can, in between reading other books. I remember the distinguished lawyer Reese and the reporter Cat who belonged to a rich fami...

It's no secret that I'm a HUGE fan of Lisa Renee Jones. And this is the book that started that love affair. I read it years ago, and have never been disappointed in any of her books that I've read since then.

Cat and Reese are the ultimate couple. The sparks fly when they are together. Cat comes from a dysfunctional family, doesn't trust very easily because of that. Especially attorneys. But Reese doesn't back away, he takes her wall down brick by brick. He proves to her what love and loya...
