YOURS goes so above and beyond common... it is ridiculous. JW has given us a treasure in character development that made me fall so hard for these two characters. Niall is everything I aspire to be. She is fiercely brave and smart and sexy. She has an honest and true love in her heart for her deceased husband, yet knows as a woman she has desires and longs to feel again. She is complete, yet broken. She needs, yet she is self sufficient. She is a hero but vulnerable.

" He was the love of my life and he is gone and I shouldn't feel good things again, should I? "

Lock is the complete opposite of Niall when we meet him. He is living on the edge of death everyday. Waiting for the clock to stop, he has taken to living a careless, loveless life. When he is given a second chance at life he hasn't a clue how to handle this. He was prepared to die , now he has to learn how to live. For some reason his new heart pushes him to need to find the woman who lost her heart , her husband, to make his tick again. He just didn't realize his heart, and other body parts, would be so drawn to her.

Sizzle alert: Lock and Niall's chemistry is so smoking hot that at some points, I had to take breaks to drink a cool one..no seriously , JW wtf?!!

What a wonderful and thought provoking love story. I have to be honest….I had to put off reading Yours when it first released. Usually I am all over a story written by Jasinda Wilder. This time I paused because Yours came out just days after my own husband had a heart attack out of the blue, died for a while, and the doctors told me they didn’t know if he ’would stay with us’. So after reading the blurb and having such raw emotion going on in my life, I knew I couldn’t read a book like this that soon after almost losing my own husband for good.

Yours is definitely is an emotional journey. One of loss, love, and the anguish of letting go of the one you love. A beautiful testament to honoring a love of a lifetime, and moving one when life deals a difficult hand. A must read for any romance reader!!
