Zinnia is a great book. I have reread it many times over the years and have continued to enjoy. The book has a grumpy hero, a sassy heroine, hot chemistry, and a unique storyline.

While I found “Amaryllis” to be a smoother read in the jargon aspect, (“Zinnia” takes the combination names a bit too far for my reading pleasure - for example “Lion-pard”) I found the plot of “Zinnia” to be far more than just a novel.
The wisdom in Ms. Castle’s understanding and presentation of human nature - physical and metaphysical - made this an enriching read for me. I hope “Orchid” lives up to my expectations after reading “Zinnia”.While I found “Amaryllis” to be a smoother read in the jargon aspect, (“Zinnia” takes the combination names a bit too far for my reading pleasure - for example “Lion-pard”) I found the plot of “Zinnia” to be far more than just a novel.
